A modern mid-range resort with spacious suites, good restaurants for an all-inclusive, and excellent dining variety (eight restaurants with various cuisines plus seven bars, including two swim-up), Now Jade Riviera Cancun attracts a mix of couples and families. The resort is located just south of Puerto Morelos on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, about 20 minutes south of sister property Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun (A1). The beach is relatively small and below average by Riviera Maya standards, which has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating; but the property offers a nice main swimming pool area with in-water aqua loungers, a separate adults-only pool, an expansive fitness center with modern equipment, a friendly staff, live entertainment, tequila tastings, a great kids club, separate activities for teens, tennis courts, and a baby sea turtle release program seasonally. All accommodations are sleek suites, equipped with jacuzzis, private terraces or balconies, a good amount of space, and tropically tasteful red and turquoise hues. Water sports on-site and at the marina next door include scuba diving, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, and snorkeling tours. Complimentary greens fees at a nearby golf course are available for guests; there is no course, however, on-site.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. A minimum 3-night stay is required to qualify. Should a guest test positive, the guest and one other are eligible to stay at the resort free of charge for up to 14 days.
