An adults-only, all-inclusive property near Marina Vallarta, the Golden Crown Paradise caters well to couples and singles. The food is just so-so at best and the beach is relatively lackluster (and harbors some aggressive vendors); but the resort offers nice day beds on the beach and by the pool, two clay tennis courts lit for night play, a solid beach volleyball court, yoga classes, water polo, a new spa with quality facilities and a hydrotherapy circuit, and an entertainment staff that keeps activities going throughout the day. Guests also have access to the amenities and four restaurants of the kid-friendly sister property next door, the Crown Paradise Club (the rooms at the Golden Crown Paradise are significantly better than those next door). Outback Steakhouse and other off-site restaurants are located just across the road. Sea Safari, a company offering snorkeling and horseback riding tours, is located right next door as well.
