Like nearby Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, the adults-only Brickell Bay Beach Club isn’t directly on the beach, which downgrades its Overall Beach Resort Rating from the lower B range to the upper C range. It’s just across the street from the Barcelo Aruba, however, which is right on Palm Beach. The rooms are quite basic and small; but the property offers some of the most affordable rates on the island, a relatively large pool with a swim-up bar, a small on-site spa, water sports just across the street on the beach, and a free continental breakfast. Salt & Pepper is a fun, unique restaurant and tapas bar adjacent to the hotel (basically on-site); it’s one of the most highly touted restaurants on the island. There are two other restaurants on-site as well, and plenty of shops and other eateries in the immediate vicinity.
On-site COVID-19 testing is not available, but testing facilities are available in the immediate vicinity. In the event of a positive COVID test before U.S. re-entry, the island’s mandatory COVID-19 insurance will cover designated accommodation costs until recovery.
