A luxurious, especially tranquil, boutique condo hotel on a pristine stretch of Grand Cayman’s famed Seven Mile Beach, the Caribbean Club caters well to both families and couples looking for peace and quiet. On-site activities are very limited (basically non-existent), there’s no spa, and on-site dining variety is lacking; but the property offers a beautiful white-sand beach, an outstanding on-site Italian restaurant in Luca (it’s one of the best restaurants on the island), a decent fitness center for a small condo hotel, a fairly good swimming pool (though it’s below average for a resort of this caliber), and a very relaxed vibe throughout the grounds. The condos (there are 37 individually owned and decorated suites and villas with one to three bedrooms) come with large furnished balconies with excellent ocean views, full gourmet kitchens with high-end amenities and granite countertops, an abundance of space, marble bathrooms with rainfall showers, washer/dryers, and walk-in closets. Most aren’t overly chic, but the plethora of space they offer make up for their lack of modernity. The three condo types are the Tower Suites, Beachfront Villas, and Pool View Villas (all villas have three bedrooms). Jet skiing, personalized boat tours, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling tours, and kayaking are available on-site or within walking distance. A good selection of off-site shops and restaurants at The Strand is just across the street, where there’s a grocery store.
