Boasting two beautiful infinity pools and cottage accommodations with private plunge pools and impressive ocean views, the all-inclusive, adults-only Cocobay Resort Antigua caters very well to couples and honeymooners. The rustic, boutique property lacks some of the comforts, activities, and amenities of larger resorts (such as a fitness center, water sports, tennis courts, and TVs in the rooms). However, it offers a quiet and romantic atmosphere, on-site hiking and kayaking, high quality drinks for an all-inclusive, wonderful overall service, and open-air spa treatments overlooking the sea. The beach isn’t overly impressive, but it has a charming, secluded feel. All cottages come with custom designed wooden furniture, high-thread-count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, king beds with pillowtop mattresses, and private verandahs with hammocks and Adirondack chairs. Most cottages have ocean views. The on-site restaurant Sheer Rocks isn’t part of the all-inclusive plan, but it helps Cocobay’s Overall Beach Resort Rating with elegant dining in a spectacular bluffside setting; featuring excellent Mediterranean cuisine and unique tapas, it’s one of the best restaurants on the island, and probably one of the more romantic dinner spots in the entire Caribbean.
The government of Antigua and Barbuda mandates that guests arriving by air must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within seven (7) days of their flight. Departure COVID-19 testing is available on-site, but it isn’t complimentary.
