An economical boutique hotel on Negril’s Seven Mile Beach, CocoLaPalm caters well to both families and couples on a budget; with a +2 TripValue, it’s one of Jamaica’s better deals. The main pool is relatively small and unimpressive, the beach is a little narrow by Caribbean standards (but average by Negril standards), most rooms are basic (and some particularly dated), there’s no swim-up bar or fitness center, and on-site activities are limited; but the property offers personalized service, a small adults-only pool, beachfront massages and nail services, large balconies (in some rooms), and a free continental breakfast included in all room rates. Marley’s By The Sea is the only on-site restaurant, but the food is quite good and the beachfront al fresco setting pleasant. Activities include glass bottom boat rides, weekly jazz and reggae nights, non-motorized water sports, and weekly cocktail and beach parties. Off-site bars and restaurants are available within walking distance.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests prior to departure are available on-site for guests staying a minimum of four nights.
