An upper-mid-range, condo-style boutique hotel with outstanding on-site snorkeling, Coral Gardens on Grace Bay caters well to both couples and families. There’s just one on-site dining option, the two swimming pools are quite small (although most boutique hotels don’t have multiple pools), and common beach resort amenities such as a spa, fitness center, and swim-up bar are lacking here; but the property offers a nice white-sand beachfront (although it’s definitely on the narrow side), very personalized service, and great Tex-Mex cuisine at the quaint beachfront bar and restaurant, the Somewhere Café & Lounge, which also has live music. Rooms range from one- to three-bedroom suites; individually owned and decorated and well-equipped, they feel more like the rooms of a beach house than a hotel. All units have full kitchens, ocean views, unique sliding glass door walls, large furnished balconies or patios, ceiling fans, and central air conditioning; the two- and three-bedroom options have washer/dryers as well. Bight Reef (also known as Coral Gardens Reef), a top-notch snorkeling spot with sea turtles and tropical fish, is just yards offshore. Deep sea fishing, horseback riding, scuba diving, parasailing, wakeboarding, water skiing, banana boat rides, and snorkeling tours can also be arranged. A few off-site shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
