The Dutch Village property is Divi’s economy option in Aruba, offering less upscale accommodations than the Divi Aruba and the Divi Aruba Phoenix properties. The beach here is comparable to the Divi Aruba Phoenix’s, but decidedly smaller than the Divi Aruba’s. The atmosphere is quieter at the Dutch Village, though, and its accommodations cater well to families with kitchens. A free shuttle service connects guests to the golf course and spa at Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort nearby. Between the neighboring Divi Aruba All Inclusive and Tamarijn properties, which Dutch Village guests have access to, there are 10 restaurants (all are part of the all-inclusive package). Other amenities include three swimming pools, a rock climbing wall, a good kids club, an excellent fitness center with ocean views, and barbecue grills throughout the grounds. Water sports in the vicinity include parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, and non-motorized options (catamarans, etc.). Downtown Oranjestad is about a 25-minute walk away.
Departure COVID-19 testing is available on-site, for a fee. In the event of a positive COVID test before U.S. re-entry, the island’s mandatory COVID-19 insurance will cover designated accommodation costs until recovery.
