There can be some seaweed on the beach and in the water (this is a fairly common issue in the area) and the atmosphere isn’t ideal for those seeking complete peace and quiet; but the property offers modern swimming pool areas (including an infinity pool with a large, standout swim-up bar with a view), an excellent kids club, good food for an all-inclusive with outstanding cuisine variety, a beautiful spa with an outdoor hydrotherapy circuit and unique body wrap and massage treatments, a fun entertainment team that keeps activities going throughout the day, and complimentary greens fees at two nearby golf courses. Some rooms come with private plunge pools, and there are adults-only areas (the whirlpools and one of the restaurants). Activities include big screen movies by the Barefoot Grill area (by the beach), yoga classes, Spanish lessons, dance classes, competitive beach games, beach volleyball, and wine and tequila tastings. Water sports include deep sea fishing, Hobie Cat sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States.
