In close proximity to both Baja California’s iconic El Arco rock formation and the shops and restaurants of downtown Cabo San Lucas, Grand Solmar Land’s End is an impressive all-around resort, especially for the often-reasonable price point. The famous arch at Land’s End isn’t viewable from the property itself and the rough ocean isn’t swimmable because of the undertow (the latter is a common issue in the area, and has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating); but the resort boasts eight swimming pools (including incredible infinity pools), a gorgeous spa (treatment rooms are cliffside huts with impeccable ocean views), personalized service, a relaxed atmosphere, an outstanding fitness center, a unique swim-up bar with “tables” and sitting areas in the pool, and an alluring beachfront (despite the unswimmable ocean). Ranging from studios to four-bedroom penthouses, all of the property’s tastefully-decorated accommodations are ocean-facing suites (most have kitchens), and the views of the powerful Pacific surf certainly don’t disappoint. Available water sports at the nearby marina include scuba diving, excellent deep sea fishing, sunset sailing cruises, jet skiing, and parasailing, among others.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are available for up to two guests per room (minimum three-night stay required).
