Opened in 2019, the new Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos caters well to singles and couples with a strong social scene, quality live entertainment, and excellent spa and fitness facilities; it also suits families with a quality kids club and opportunities for unique music experiences. The beach isn’t swimmable due to a strong undertow (this is a common issue in Los Cabos; it has a negative effect on the property’s Beach Quality score and downgrades the Overall Beach Resort Rating from the middle to lower A range) and there aren’t off-site shops or restaurants within walking distance; but the resort offers five modern swimming pools with impressive waterslides and four pool bars, chic rooms and common areas, eight restaurants with great food for an all-inclusive, a large fitness center with quality equipment, and excellent overall service. The 30,000-square-foot spa features 36 treatment rooms and a hydrotherapy center with whirlpools, a steam room, and a sauna; it offers the world’s first music-centric spa menu – it uses amplified vibrations, pressures, and patterns as the foundation of its treatments. The on-site Music Lab allows guests to play on stage with a jam band of up to seven people (with coaching), create their own music video, learn how to DJ and then perform on stage, and record music in the recording studio. Other activities include bowling, sunset yoga classes, basketball, and tennis. Rooms come with hydro-spa tubs, large flat-screen TVs, and 24-hour room service; some suites have spacious balconies with outdoor tubs and some have swim-up access with first-rate ocean views.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site for guests traveling back to the United States (up to two tests per room, minimum three-night stay required). Additional tests can be purchased for $50 USD each.
