One of the lowest-priced beachfront options in Los Cabos, this Holiday Inn is a good budget all-inclusive option, especially for families. The ocean has a strong undertow and is not suitable for swimming (this is common in the area, but it still has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating), on-site dining variety is well below average for an all-inclusive (there are just two restaurants), the rooms are fairly basic, and the food is just so-so; but the hotel offers two lively swim-up bars, three swimming pools (one for adults only), two quality tennis courts (which is rare for Los Cabos), nightly shows, a kids club, a full basketball/sport court, and a very expansive beachfront (it’s the largest in Los Cabos). Some ground-floor accommodations have outdoor spaces with hammocks, and suites with living areas and extra bathrooms are available. The property lacks on-site water sports and a spa, but the shops and restaurants of downtown San Jose del Cabo are within walking distance.
