One of Aruba’s best overall beach resorts, the beautifully-manicured Hyatt Regency Resort Spa and Casino on Palm Beach caters to a mix of couples, families, and singles with an energetic atmosphere and plenty to do. Not all rooms have balconies and reserving palapas on the beach can get competitive at certain times of year (they can be reserved in advance, but for a fee); but the property offers an outstanding multi-tiered pool area (with whirlpools, an impressive waterslide, and waterfalls), a quality casino, great on-site cuisine variety (especially for a non-all-inclusive; there are five restaurants plus light bites available at a couple of the bars), great overall service, locally-inspired treatments at the ZoiA Spa, a solid fitness center, a good selection of upscale bars including a unique juice bar on the beach, and an above-average kids club. The recently renovated rooms come with a chic and soothing style, soft carpeting (or tile or wood plank tile with woven area rugs), comfortable beds, and very large flat-screen TVs; rooms with Regency Club Lounge access come with perks such as a continental breakfast, snacks, desserts, and more. Spacious suites are available as well. Scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, banana boat rides, and sailing are available on the beach. Off-site shops and restaurants are plentiful in the immediate vicinity.
Complimentary on-site COVID-19 testing is available for guests traveling to the U.S. (free of charge for up to two registered guests per guestroom per stay). In the event of a positive test, the island’s mandatory COVID-19 insurance will cover designated accommodation costs until recovery.
