The second best (and second most expensive) of the three neighboring all-inclusive Iberostar properties in the Montego Bay area, Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites caters well to families. Its two neighbors are the more basic and economical Iberostar Rose Hall Beach (Baa2) and the more upscale, adults-only Iberostar Grand Rose Hall (Aa2), the Grand Rose Hall being the definitive best of the three. Rose Hall Suites guests don’t have access to the amenities of the Grand Rose Hall (though the reverse is true); but some features such as the spa, fitness center, and casino are fully shared between the three sections. Guests also have access to the amenities of the Rose Hall Beach section. A la carte restaurant reservations can be difficult to secure and the rooms have somewhat dated elements (especially for the price tag); but the resort offers one of the very best beaches in the Montego Bay area, a nice spa with hydrotherapy and outdoor treatments (and a juice bar), a great swimming pool area with an infinity pool and a lazy river, a strong fitness center with spinning and Pilates, a large swim-up bar, a fairly social overall atmosphere, and three separate kids clubs (“Monkey” for ages 4-7, “Dolphin” for ages 8-12, and “Eagle” for ages 13-17). Rooms come with balconies or terraces, ceiling fans, and re-stocked minibars; many have excellent ocean views. Activities include parasailing, scuba diving (Dressel Divers is on-site), beach volleyball (on a great court), Hobie Cat sailing, kayaking, tennis (three quality courts), yoga classes, and evening shows.
Free COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site for all guests returning to the United States. PCR tests are also offered for a fee.
