A quiet, adults only, all-inclusive option near downtown Cabo San Lucas (but not within walking distance), Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort caters well to couples; it’s the most exclusive of the four Pueblo Bonito properties in the area. It has a peaceful, isolated feel yet isn’t far from shops, restaurants, and things to do. The ocean isn’t swimmable due to a strong undertow (a common issue in the Los Cabos area, this factor has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating) and the airport is somewhat far (about 46 minutes); but the property offers strong restaurant variety, two nice swimming pools surrounded by upscale lounge chairs and umbrellas, excellent food for an all-inclusive, a nice beach (despite the unswimmable ocean) with day beds and sunrise yoga classes twice a week, very clean grounds, a bright fitness center with plenty of space, suites with butler service, and an impressively large jacuzzi by the beach. Rooms come with teak and native wood furnishings, private furnished balconies and terraces, bathrobes and slippers, and 24-hour room service; 47 of the 201 rooms and suites compose the Towers at Pacifica, the more intimate resort within the resort. The outstanding Quivira Golf Club (with its stunning ocean views and steakhouse) is right next door; it’s one of the best golf courses in the world and only Pueblo Bonito guests have access. Other activities include tequila tastings, group hikes, cooking classes, wine tasting seminars, and dance lessons. Guests have access to sister properties in the area (they aren’t within walking distance, but a free shuttle is provided). Water sports are available in the general vicinity but not on-site.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site for all-inclusive guests returning to the United States (minimum three-night stay required, one test per person). Additional tests can be purchased for $17 USD per test.
