A luxury all-inclusive resort situated on a protected cove in Cap Estate, on the north end of St. Lucia, this Royalton property is one of the island’s top choices for families. There isn’t much within walking distance, the overall service gets somewhat inconsistent reviews for a resort of this caliber, the rooms’ open bathrooms lack privacy, and on-site water sports are mostly lacking; but the property offers a good white-sand beach with plush lounge chairs and umbrellas, two beautiful swimming pools with swim-up bars, six contemporary restaurants plus an upscale sports bar with good food for an all-inclusive, a spa with a hydrotherapy circuit, a nice open-air theater with live entertainment, and separate kids and teens clubs with top-notch facilities and plenty of activities including scavenger hunts and nature hikes. There’s also a splash park for younger children with a small pirate ship. Rooms come with comfortable beds with high thread count sheets, rain showers, deep soaking tubs, stocked minibars, 24-hour room service, and balconies or terraces; some have private plunge pools. Upgrading to Diamond Club status comes with perks like butler service, exclusive bar and restaurant areas, complimentary hydrotherapy at the spa, and exclusive pool and beach areas; some Diamond Club suites also have outdoor jacuzzis. Activities include cooking classes, dance classes, trivia competitions, aerobics classes, yoga on the beach, poolside mixology classes, weight-training with instruction, kayaking, and introductory scuba lessons in the pool. The quieter Hideaway section (Aa2) of the resort complex is for adults only.
COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site, for a fee, for guests returning to the United States.
