Featuring a water park with impressive waterslides and an outstanding swimming pool area, Royalton White Sands caters well to families; with a +1 TripValue, it’s one of the better bargains in Jamaica. The usual abundance of kids here isn’t ideal for couples and lounge chairs can be difficult to reserve at certain times of year; but the resort offers a very good beachfront with turquoise water (it’s particularly large for Jamaica, though the beach directly in front of the sister property next door is a little nicer), good restaurants for an all-inclusive with top notch variety, separate kids and teens clubs (the teens club has modern PlayStation lounges), a beautiful spa with a hydrotherapy circuit and a range of treatments, a lazy river next door, and a separate adults-only pool with a swim-up bar. The modern rooms come with comfortable beds, high thread count sheets, large flat-screen TVs, rain showers, stocked minibars, and balconies or terraces; some have jacuzzis. Activities include tennis on unique FieldTurf courts, cooking classes, dance classes, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, and beach volleyball. The outstanding fitness center hosts a variety of instructor-led classes such as TRX, kickboxing, Aqua Fit, Beach Bootcamp, and various styles of yoga classes. Guests have access to the amenities of Royalton Blue Waters (Aa2) next door, which is a slight step up in terms of beach and room quality (but also rates).
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site for guests staying a minimum of three nights and returning to the United States.
