With one of the best beachfronts in the entire Caribbean and a beautiful network of swimming pools throughout well-manicured grounds, Secrets Cap Cana is an outstanding adults-only resort; opened in 2017, it’s one of Punta Cana’s newer properties, ideal for couples and honeymooners. The Aaa all-inclusive resort offers excellent service, very good food for an all-inclusive, impressive restaurant variety, a solid fitness center, a modern spa by Pevonia, a very high quality beach volleyball court, and beautiful accommodations with tasteful wood accents and attractive Caribbean colors. Swim-out, oceanfront, and plunge pool suites are available. The impeccable white-sand beach has palm trees, palapas, lounge chairs, and plenty of space; it’s also quiet, without any vendors. In terms of general layout, the property is large enough to not feel cramped but small enough to get around fairly easily. Activities include kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, Hobie Cat sailing, Spanish classes, scuba diving (with introductory classes), parasailing, party boats, dance lessons, nightly entertainment (indoor and outdoor), big screen movies on the beach, weekly cocktail parties hosted by management, and excursions to Catalina Island. The Cap Cana Marina, where other water sports such as deep sea fishing are available, isn’t too far but isn’t within walking distance. Fishing trips can also be arranged on-site. The renowned Punta Espada Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus is nearby, too; it’s one of the Caribbean’s top courses and features eight oceanfront holes.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. A minimum 3-night stay is required to qualify. Should a guest test positive, the guest and one other are eligible to stay at the resort free of charge for up to 14 days.
