Surrounded by fairways, this adults-only Secrets property just east of San Jose del Cabo caters to golf enthusiasts and couples. It’s also a popular choice for corporate conferences. The beach is a little bit of a walk from some rooms (the resort in general is quite spread out), on-site water sports are lacking, there aren’t off-site shops or restaurants within walking distance, and the ocean isn’t suitable for swimming because of the undertow (this is a common issue in Los Cabos, but it has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating); but the resort offers above average food for an all-inclusive, excellent cuisine variety, separate quiet and social swimming pools, very personalized and friendly service, great live music and other entertainment, a bright fitness center, and quality accommodations with expansive balconies and modern bathrooms with whirlpools. Some suites have swim-up access; others have outstanding ocean views. Activities include beach volleyball (on a quality court), golf, archery and rifle shooting tournaments, cooking classes, tequila tastings, dance classes, yoga and Pilates classes, and group bike rides to the nearby Puerto Los Cabos marina.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. A minimum 3-night stay is required to qualify. Should a guest test positive, the guest and one other are eligible to stay at the resort free of charge for up to 14 days.
