Most amenities are shared with sister property Secrets St. James (Aa2) next door (meaning restaurants can be crowded), and there isn’t much within walking distance other than a Hard Rock Café (the property is on a relatively isolated peninsula); but the resort offers outstanding restaurant variety (nine to choose from) with great food for an all-inclusive, a fairly good beach for the area (with slightly more space than next door), an exceptional 15,000-square-foot spa with a hydrotherapy circuit and a plethora of treatments, a good fitness center with large windows, on-site shops, a theater with quality nightly shows, and top-notch accommodations with British colonial décor. Rooms come with whirlpool tubs, private furnished balconies, re-stocked minibars, large flat-screen TVs, Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities, 24-hour room service with a “Secrets Box” for private room service delivery, ceiling fans, upscale four-poster beds, and butler service upon request. Some suites also have swim-out access. Upgrading to the Preferred Club section comes with perks such as access to exclusive pool and lounge areas, a premium minibar, and private check-in/check-out. Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. A minimum 3-night stay is required to qualify. Should a guest test positive, the guest and one other are eligible to stay at the resort free of charge for up to 14 days.
