Located in the heart of Grace Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, the upscale, Aaa-rated Seven Stars Resort & Spa caters well to both couples and families; named after the seven stars of the Pleiades constellation, it’s one of the best beach resorts in the greater Caribbean region. Rates and restaurant prices can be quite high, there are only two on-site dining options to choose from, and there’s no swim-up bar; but the resort offers an outstanding white-sand beachfront (this factor upgrades the Overall Beach Resort Rating a notch or two to Aaa), very high quality service, the island’s only heated saltwater pool plus an adults-only pool, a 5-star gourmet restaurant in “Seven” plus private beachside dining, a “Champagne Shack” bar overlooking the ocean, a very nice spa with couples massages (in-suite and beachside available) and hot stone therapy, an on-site boutique with beachwear, and well-equipped accommodations with plenty of space (they’re not especially modern for a resort of this caliber, but they’re well-equipped). Rooms range from junior suites for two to three-bedroom suites ideal for families or larger groups; they come with kitchens or kitchenettes with GE stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, private furnished terraces or balconies, four-poster beds, jacuzzis, flat-screen TVs, L’Occitane bath products, Nespresso coffee machines, marble bathrooms, and twice-daily housekeeping. Activities include basketball and tennis (on excellent courts), pickleball, beach volleyball (on a subpar court), outdoor yoga classes, stand-up paddleboarding, Hobie Cat sailing, kayaking, great reef snorkeling tours, and sunset cruises. Off-site shops and restaurants abound in the immediate vicinity.
