An economical boutique hotel with the distinction of being the first hotel built on beautiful Grace Bay Beach, one of the Caribbean’s best beaches, the quaint Sibonne Beach Hotel caters well to couples with an excellent on-site restaurant and some of the lowest beachfront rates in pricey Turks & Caicos (the TripValue is +3, which is outstanding for T&C). The pool is small and very lackluster, the rooms are basic and dated, on-site activities are very limited, and many amenities common at larger resorts are missing here (such as a spa, fitness center, kids club, concierge, room service, swim-up bar, tour desk, and tennis courts); but the property offers an outstanding white-sand beach with a few palapas and umbrellas for shade, a very tranquil and relaxed atmosphere, an impressive oceanfront restaurant in Bay Bistro with open-air seating and award-winning conch crepes (reservations are recommended, as the establishment is popular among non-guests), and personalized service. Rooms come with ceiling fans, air conditioning, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers; some have balconies or terraces and/or ocean views. Again, activities are limited, but the hotel has multiple scuba diving packages on offer. The beach and dining quality here have a positive effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating, upgrading it from the lower B range to the upper B range.
