Antigua’s largest all-inclusive, and one of the island’s most affordable resorts, Starfish Jolly Beach Resort caters well to families on a budget, and offers six different accommodation styles ranging from standard rooms to two-bedroom beach cottages. The rooms are very basic and dated, and guest reviews regarding service are somewhat inconsistent; but the resort offers solid dining variety, daily afternoon tea with snacks, dance classes, and separate kids and teens clubs. The large main swimming pool (with swim-up bar) and the outstanding beach area (Antigua’s largest, and arguably best overall, rivaling that of Galley Bay’s) help the Overall Beach Resort Rating here significantly, upgrading it from the C range to the lower B range. Rooms come with private balconies or terraces, air conditioning, hair dryers, and satellite TV. Kayaking and sailing lessons are offered on-site, as well as tennis lessons, and scuba diving and sailing charters are available across the street at Jolly Harbour.
