The most affordable beach resort in Los Cabos, with a convenient location near the plethora of shops, restaurants, and nightlife of downtown Cabo (including the well-known nightclub Cabo Wabo Cantina), Tesoro Los Cabos is ideal for budget travelers seeking the middle of the action. There’s no beach directly on-site (guests need to walk to Cabo’s public beach nearby; this factor has a strong negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating, downgrading it into the C range), the fitness center is lackluster, and the rooms are basic; but the hotel offers a lively party scene at the rooftop pool (the hotel is also a popular Spring Break spot in March and April), a small spa, a very nice rooftop fire pit area, two elevated jacuzzis and a daily breakfast buffet at the pool, and three good on-site restaurants. The hotel is also located right on the marina, so water sports such as deep sea fishing, scuba diving, jet skiing, snorkeling, and parasailing are readily available. Meal plans are offered as well.
