With nine restaurants, ten bars, and six pools, The Fives Beach is impressive on paper in terms of hotel amenities. Its array of activities and service quality are equally robust, though, making it one of the area’s best upper-mid-range options, especially for families. The rooms and main pool area are a little bit of a walk from the beach (though golf cart rides are offered) and there aren’t any off-site shops and restaurants within walking distance; but the resort offers excellent food for an all-inclusive, a quality beachfront with day beds and loungers, two great swim-up bars (one is by the beach), very strong fitness and spa facilities, great evening entertainment, suites with swim-up access, and an extremely large main swimming pool that meanders its way through the property’s beautifully manicured tropical grounds. The upscale accommodations come with rain showers, aromatherapy and pillow menus, personal concierge service, 24-hour room service, balconies or terraces, chic bathrooms with deep sinks, and flat-screen TVs. Many also have whirlpools. Activities include archery, rock climbing, yoga classes, dance classes, snorkeling, scuba diving, Spanish lessons, and more.
Departure COVID-19 antigen tests are available on a complimentary basis for guests staying four or more nights.
