Resort Profile

The most luxurious beach resort in the Bahamas (and one of the very best in the entire Caribbean), The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort caters very well to couples and golf enthusiasts with exceptional accommodations, a serene atmosphere, and 35 acres of beautiful Versailles-inspired lawns and gardens. The room rates and restaurants are expensive; but the property offers an outstanding white-sand beach with turquoise water and a tranquil vibe, three pools including a long oceanfront infinity pool, eight Balinese-inspired spa villas with detox wraps and signature treatments such as the Coconut Poultice Massage, a modern kids club, six tennis courts, and top-notch dining at three on-site restaurants (including the French-Asian-Bahamian fusion eatery “Dune” by renowned Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten). The Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course next door is one of the Caribbean’s top courses; it features alluring ocean vistas, numerous water hazards, challenging crosswinds, and an impressive seven holes that border the beach. Rooms come with an elegant Caribbean style with upscale mahogany furnishings and hardwood floors, louvered doors that open to private terraces or balconies with ocean views, and complimentary champagne and strawberries delivered daily; the Garden Cottages have two master bedrooms and French doors that open to courtyards with plunge pools and the beachfront Villa Residences come with three or four bedrooms, private infinity pools, and direct beach access. Activities include scuba diving, snorkeling, daily outdoor yoga classes, and stand-up paddleboarding. Guests also receive complimentary access (and a free shuttle) to the nearby Atlantis Paradise Island resort complex, one of the Caribbean’s most impressive attractions.

Everyone traveling to The Bahamas must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (swab) test taken no more than five days prior to the date of arrival. The day the test is taken is considered Day Zero. Test must return a negative result for entry into The Bahamas. Children 10 and under are not required to take a test. Negative PCR test results must be uploaded in order to complete a Bahamas Health Visa application, and must be presented upon arrival in The Bahamas.

On-site COVID-19 testing for U.S. re-entry is available in the privacy of guest accommodations, for a fee.
