This family-friendly, all-suite, all-inclusive resort is less than five minutes from the airport and conveniently within walking distance of Marina Vallarta, where there’s a plethora of shops, restaurants, and water sports. Airplane noise can sometimes be noticeable, the fitness center is very small and has limited equipment, and the beach is below average; but the resort offers excellent overall service (despite timeshare pitches), large rooms with kitchenettes, a kids club, separate kids pool and quiet pool areas, three lighted tennis courts, well-manicured grounds, and resident peacocks and iguanas that roam freely about the property. The on-site restaurants are very good for an all-inclusive; Andrea Restaurant and the oceanfront La Ribera Steakhouse offer gluten-free and vegan menus as well. Suites come with up to three bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchens, contemporary Mexican décor, imported bath products, private balconies or terraces with teak patio furniture, goose-down pillows and comforters, and re-stocked minibars. Water sports at Marina Vallarta next door include deep sea fishing, sailing, whale watching, and scuba diving, among others.
On-site COVID-19 antigen tests are available on a complimentary basis for guests returning to the United States (minimum three-night stay required). Results are sent via email within 24 hours. In the event of a positive test, the resort will provide a 75% discount for an extended stay until recovery.
