One of the few adults-only, all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas, the upper-mid-range Warwick Paradise Island caters well to couples with a mostly quiet vibe and a good location near activities and attractions (there isn’t much in terms of on-site activities). The resort is on the south side of Paradise Island, which means the small harborfront beach opens to a channel facing downtown Nassau instead of the open ocean (with a small, enclosed area for swimming; the below-average beach has a negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating and TripValue); but the property offers five bright restaurants with modern vibes and fairly good food for an all-inclusive, contemporary rooms, a fairly large freeform swimming pool, a nice on-site spa with massages with harbor views, and a convenient location near the massive Atlantis Paradise Island resort complex (which boasts the Caribbean’s best water park and the world’s largest open-air marine habitat with over 250 marine species; day passes can be purchased). The rooms come with chic wood flooring, modern bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and balconies or terraces; many have good views of Nassau Harbour. Again, on-site activities are limited, but off-site shops and restaurants are available within walking distance and the Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course down the street is one of the Caribbean’s top courses; it features alluring ocean vistas, numerous water hazards, challenging crosswinds, and an impressive seven holes that border the beach.
Everyone traveling to The Bahamas must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (swab) test taken no more than five days prior to the date of arrival. The day the test is taken is considered Day Zero. Test must return a negative result for entry into The Bahamas. Children 10 and under are not required to take a test. Negative PCR test results must be uploaded in order to complete a Bahamas Health Visa application, and must be presented upon arrival in The Bahamas.
