Situated on a particularly pretty stretch of the powder-white sand of Grace Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, the upper-mid-range, boutique West Bay Club caters well to families with a good selection of activities for kids and a quiet/relaxing vibe. There isn’t much within walking distance in terms of off-site shopping and dining and there’s no swim-up bar or on-site nightlife; but the property offers two on-site restaurants (this is somewhat rare for a boutique hotel; one eatery is by the pool, the other by the beach), a large infinity pool for the size of the hotel, a great kids club (also rare for a boutique hotel) with arts and crafts and water sports excursions such as snorkeling and wakeboarding or water skiing, a complimentary full American breakfast served daily, pool and beach wait service, free bikes for rent, a pre-arrival grocery delivery service, a quaint bar directly on the beach, a bright (if small) fitness center with private yoga and personal training, and a small on-site spa. Room options include studios (which don’t have ocean views) and suites with up to four bedrooms and 3,100 square feet of space; all suites come with balconies with ocean views, kitchens with stainless steel appliances, and oceanfront living and dining areas. Activities include family stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking eco-tours, snorkeling, tubing, beach volleyball (on an unimpressive court), Hobie Cat sailing, Friday night bonfires with s’mores on the beach, and private swim lessons; parasailing and horseback riding on the beach can also be arranged.
On-site COVID-19 testing is not available, but the resort can arrange complimentary tests nearby prior to departure, with free transportation to and from the testing location.
