One of Jamaica’s most contemporary and luxurious beach resorts, the boutique, all-inclusive Zoetry Montego Bay caters well to couples; with just 49 suites, it’s significantly smaller than most premier resorts on the island. The resort welcomes families with children, but there isn’t much for kids to do and the quaint, quiet atmosphere best suits adults, especially couples. The beach is small and narrow (this factor has a strong negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating, lowering it from the upper A range to the lower A range), there’s no swim-up bar, the fitness center is limited, there isn’t much of a social scene (a pro for some), and airplane noise can be noticeable due to the proximity of Sangster International Airport; but the property offers modern rooms with state-of-the-art amenities, a nice infinity pool adjacent to the sea with upscale lounge chairs and other furniture surrounding it, a beautiful spa with a secluded feel, a 24-hour coffee bar, impeccable overall service, and excellent restaurants (especially for an all-inclusive). Rooms come with impressive four-poster beds, open terraces and balconies, floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, minibars re-stocked twice daily, large flat-screen TVs, Bulgari bath amenities, and maid service three times daily; some have swim-out access and all have butler service. The rooms compose three buildings: Wood & Water, Bamboo, and Blue Mountain (the Blue Mountain rooms are closest to the beach and pool, but not by much). Activities include deep sea fishing (your catch can be prepared for your dinner), snorkeling excursions (45-minute tours are included, which is highly unique), scuba diving, parasailing, kayaking, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, yoga and meditation classes, cooking lessons, and afternoon tea.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are provided on-site for guests traveling back to the United States. Test results will be received the same day in a format consistent with government requirements. A minimum 3-night stay is required to qualify. Should a guest test positive, the guest and one other are eligible to stay at the resort free of charge for up to 14 days.
