One of Negril’s most upscale resorts, the adults-only, all-inclusive Hideaway at Royalton Negril opened in 2017 and caters well to couples; the atmosphere here is decidedly more interactive/social than it is relaxing/quiet. The kid-friendly sister property, Royalton Negril (A2) is right next door; Hideaway guests have full access to all of its amenities. The small manmade beach fails to impress (this factor has a strong negative effect on the Overall Beach Resort Rating, lowering it from the upper A range to the lower A range), on-site activities are limited, and the shared restaurants will have kids (and can vary somewhat in quality); but the property offers a sleek swimming pool with ocean views and an upscale swim-up bar, outstanding overall service, good food for an all-inclusive, modern rooms with luxurious amenities, a larger beachfront at the sister property next door, a trendy sports bar, an impressive multi-level fitness center, and a quality spa with a hydrotherapy circuit and a good selection of treatments. The fitness center hosts a variety of instructor-led classes such as TRX, kickboxing, Aqua Fit, Beach Bootcamp, and various styles of yoga classes. All rooms come with rain showers, flat-screen TVs, comfortable beds, high thread count sheets, stocked minibars, jacuzzis (in most), and private balconies or terraces with ocean views; swim-out suites are also available.
Complimentary COVID-19 antigen tests are available on-site for guests staying a minimum of three nights and returning to the United States.
